Services we offer:
Online access to your Patron Record
You can access your library account online by heading to Public Library Catalog (http://search NULL.midhudsonlibraries NULL.org/). You will need your Library Card number (22394000######) and PIN.
Then you can request, renew, opt in to having your reading list saved so you can view it (we can never view it), and you can access databases (the MHLS has access to some Gale and Proquest resources), and you can access things like Chilton’s repair, Mango Language Learning, downloadable audiobooks and ebooks through Overdrive, and new this January downloadable digital magazines through Zinio. When browsing the catalog if you click the tab “Catalog Plus Articles” or just “Articles” you can search the databases for research articles.
Public computers are available for use. Patrons can log in using their library card or stop at the circulation desk for a guest pass. Patrons can log on for an hour, if no one else is waiting patrons may have a 2nd hour. We give 10 pages of black & white prints for free, additional pages are 10¢ and color pages are 25¢. Money for prints can be added by staff at the circulation desk. Patron use of the public computers are governed by our Internet Use Policy. We have 6 computers available for hour time slots, we also have 2 computers available for 15 minute express use.
Public Computer Use, Effective: Friday, July 01, 2016
Public computer use is limited to 2 hours per day with a library card:
- Time extensions will only be granted for patrons filling out job applications, taking exams/online courses, or filing taxes. No exceptions.
Patrons are expected to have their library cards and PINs with them to log onto the computer. Guest passes are reserved for patrons who do not have library cards. If you need a library card, please see staff at Circulation Desk!
Only 1 guest pass will be issued per patron each day:
- Identification must be provided at the Circulation Desk.
- Staff will record the name of the patron before issuing a guest pass.
- Guest passes have a 1 hour time limit and cannot be extended.
Children under 12 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
10 free black and white pages can be printed per day. B&W prints are 10¢; color prints are 25¢. Add money at the Circulation Desk.
Staff assistance is available, if you need help using the computer, checking email, or using social media.
A copier is available for public use. Black & white pages are 10¢ and color pages are 25¢. Staff can provide minimal assistance with using the machine. Home-based Materials Delivery Service
To ensure that all member of the community have access to library materials, we are offering Home-Based Delivery Service.
Inter-Library Loan (ILL) from outside of the Mid-Hudson Library System
For research articles or items that you cannot find in the Mid-Hudson Library System the Woodstock Library provides Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
ILLs are only provided for patron’s with accounts in good standing, if you have overdue or billed materials we will not allow requests.
ILL loans are provided by courtesy loans from other institutions. These items have a specific due date and may or may not be possible to renew, the owning institution sets the parameters. These loans must be picked up and returned to the Woodstock Library only.
Patrons who are unable to follow special lending rules will no longer be eligible to borrow Inter Library Loans as they jeopardize all patron’s access to these loans.
Public Bulletin Board
Our Bulletin Board is now inside the library to the right as you enter, next to the copier. Bulletin Board postings are governed by the Public Bulletin Board Policy.
The Woodstock Library has some equipment available for local non-profit organizations to use. This is governed by our Policy Governing Equipment Loan. Please contact the Library Director to inquire about availability.

The Woodstock Library does not offer faxing to patrons. We do not have any professional grade graphic design or photo editing software on our PCs. However, the Center for Photography (http://www NULL.cpw NULL.org/) has work space and computers/hardware available for CPW members, students, and the community at large for a fee.
