Readers reviews:

“Leslie Malin’s Cracked Open gives readers keys to understanding and using doubt, fear and failure to reset themselves. It is also a work that doesn’t want to be put away. It is a page turner in the best sense. The marriage of great thinkers’ thoughts and Ms. Malin’s explanations and personal observations make this book a compelling read….for anyone. It seems it is ultimately about finding joy on the other side of darkness.

“Inspiring, Intelligent, Insightful and beautifully written. I loved every page!!”

“I’m loving Cracked Open! Leslie has a real talent for taking inspirational quotes to the next level of reflection. I’m using my book for my morning focus time and every new entry helps me look at my doubts and fears in a new way… to find the silver lining. What a great start to the day! Leslie’s beautiful writings are a blessing.”

Leslie Malin, Cracked Open: Reflections on the Transformative Power of Failure, Fear & Doubt

Leslie considers herself to be a beginner at life, despite her many years in the world. No matter what she thinks she knows or has learned, she states that:

“I am presented with my ignorance on a daily basis. And, that’s just fine with me; well to be honest, sometimes it is quite unnerving and takes a while to digest! Whether it’s working with clients, reading, being part of an online community, or having everyday conversations with friends and family, I discover wisdom that enriches my life.”

A licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 35 years, Leslie has worked with thousands of people and families as a psychotherapist, Life Transition Coach (http://justthinkn NULL.com/), and a seminar leader for public groups, corporations, nonprofits and small business. Presently she maintains a private psychotherapy and coaching practice with offices in Kingston, New York. Leslie is a graduate of Vassar College and holds a Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University School of Social Work. She is presently developing new online workshops and beginning her work on the second book in her Reflections series: Forgiveness: The Gift You Give Yourself.
